Hi, Tumblr. I'm back :)
I disappeared for a while…
to recharge, get a new job, travel some, visit family and perfect a kick-ass pound cake recipe. I was in Chicago, Winnetka, Chapel Hill, Raleigh and will be off to Philadelphia soon.
I have KMFDM tickets, new tires, longer hair, new kittens from the Humane Society, and a baby who is out of the hospital and done with surgery for Meckel’s diverticulum. Needless to say, he is terrorizing the house again and all is well.
When a dear friend messaged me saying: “Drie. I miss your blog. I went to visit and just kept hitting the random button,” I knew it was time to come back. I’ve missed you, too :)
